The planner will analyze production volumes and trends to adjust material requirements, ensuring alignment with operational needs and quarterly financial targets.
The position also partners closely with Process Engineering/Production Control to identify volume changes, product mix, usage spikes, understand root causes and implement corrective actions that improve planning accuracy and continuous material flow.
- Plan and manage material requirements for chemicals, manufacturing supplies, and monitor wafers in support of production schedules.
- Review production volumes and forecasts to adjust material plans and ensure continuous supply to operations.
- Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) planning strategies to minimize on site inventory and comply with chemical storage limitations.
- Monitor and coordinate material deliveries to align with the quarterly production and financial plan.
- Work closely with Process Engineering to identify and investigate usage spikes, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Create and manage purchase requisitions in Oracle Cloud and ensure timely follow-up on supplier commitments and deliveries.
- Optimize planning parameters (min/max levels, safety stock, reorder points) to balance cost, space, and supply reliability.
- Collaborate with Procurement to address pricing, sourcing, and supplier performance issues.
- Analyze material consumption data to identify trends, optimize planning accuracy, and support cost control initiatives.
- Support internal audits, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement activities related to material control and planning processes.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material or production planning, preferably in a high-tech or chemical manufacturing environment.

- Ability to interpret production forecasts and translate them into material plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
PREFFERED:
- Experience in chemical or semiconductor materials planning.
- Familiarity with EHS requirements for chemical storage and handling.
