Manufacturing Maintenance Technician-1st Shift

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing preventative maintenance; identifying potential issues that could interrupt machine uptime, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of various equipment used within the manufacturing environment.

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
• Work closely with production to optimize run time and utilize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Set up and install new equipment including integration with existing equipment.

• High School or technical school
• Requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of related experience in a production facility (prefer Precision machining and metal fabrication background).
• Prior work experience with manufacturing equipment in the field of powder paint process systems), CNC mechanical systems, and general facility utilities such as compressors, chillers, and Amada NC punching machines, lasers, and press brakes. CNC controlled Haas and Mazak machine tools mills and lathes)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Basic computer skills are essential.
