- The Formulations Lab Wash Technician supports buffer and reagent manufacturing by cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing laboratory equipment and materials.
- This role is essential to maintaining a clean, compliant, and safe lab environment while ensuring adherence to cGMP and safety standards.
- Clean and sanitize stainless steel tanks, glassware, utensils, and laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs and cGMP requirements.
- Operate, load, unload, and maintain washers, autoclaves, and other sterilization equipment.
- Prepare tanks and materials for sterilization, including wrapping and staging.
- Assist with routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of washroom equipment.
- Transport clean equipment and materials to designated staging areas for production use.
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs and related documentation.
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning agents and potentially biohazardous materials.
- Report damaged equipment, procedural deviations, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to good documentation practices.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Comfort working in cleanroom or controlled laboratory environments.
- Previous experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and SOP‑driven environments.
- Experience operating washers, autoclaves, or sterilization equipment.
