PORTER (FULL TIME) – Bon Appétit Management Company

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Porter position.

• Schedule:
  
  Full time, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary; details provided during interview.

• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour (fixed).

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including all tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage station.

• Ensures tables are bussed, cleared, cleaned, and floors are swept during peak service times and prepped prior to service.
• Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils to the kitchen area using trays, bus tubs or carts.
• Washes dishes, glasses, and pots; cleans cooking stations and equipment to maintain service flow and sanitation standards.
• Scrapes, rinses, and washes food by hand or places items in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness.
• Keeps display equipment clean, free of debris, and complies with safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
• Helps receive heavy deliveries from the dock and transports them to assigned storage areas while observing safe lifting standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains personal safety and protects others.
• Abides by all company policies and procedures including:
  • Use of medium‑weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, or cleaning a slicer.
  • Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves for hot pans.
  • Use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
