Garda World Security Services is Now Hiring a Surveillance Global Security Operations Center Operator!

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Global Security Operations Center Operator?

• Minimum 2 years of GSOC experience
• 21+ years of age
• Active driver’s license and clean driving record
• State security license (32hr BSIS security trainings – additional training available during hiring)
• High school diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better
• MUST pass an extensive screening process
• Include up-to-date GSOC resume

  Part time & full time, 16‑40 hours per week.
• Monday, 6:00am - 2:30pm & Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am

Responsibilities of Surveillance Global Security Operations Center Operator

• Assist GSOC Manager with tasks during shifts
• Monitor multiple screens in a GSOC environment
• Utilize tools such as access control, alarm monitoring systems, business intelligence sources, open‑source media, Internet, and in‑house tools
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills
• Investigate alarms and take actions such as dispatching security patrol or alerting fire services or police as needed
• Conduct investigations using applications to confirm or deny reports to the Global Security Team
• Multi‑task under stressful or intense circumstances
• Support GSOC Manager in completing necessary tasks
• Prioritize excellent customer service
• Observe, survey area and report activity at assigned location
• Provide rapid response in critical situations
• Write detailed reports accurately
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards
