Corporate Service Team Field Technician – Atlas Copco

Join us to apply for the Corporate Service Team Field Technician position at Atlas Copco. You will be responsible for performing routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment at customer sites, ensuring a complete solution for customers’ industrial equipment maintenance needs.

• Safely perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on all brands of air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment, document root causes, and perform repairs as indicated.
• Prior to and following maintenance, test and document operating parameters, noting and reviewing any abnormalities with the customer.
• Document all work performed daily using company‑provided hardware and software; complete timesheets in Time Clock Plus and maintain accurate work orders and visit reports in MAM

• Maintain personal appearance, company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and working condition.
• Develop rapport with customers and colleagues through effective communication, professionalism, and customer pre‑calls.
• Provide necessary tools and perform general maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Acquire a higher level of learning in VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits; deliver high‑level customer service.
• Travel extensively and be available on short notice for emergencies.
• Serve as an ambassador for Atlas Copco, promoting the “Way” and sharing knowledge and training with teammates.
• Manage time effectively, work independently, and practice proper safety procedures with personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with teammates, share knowledge, and participate in on‑the‑job training.
• Project a knowledgeable, professional, and customer‑orientated image to enhance company branding.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards.
• Take appropriate action to complete tasks and maintain communications with necessary parties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing Atlas Copco air compressors.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with expertise in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics preferred.
• Completion of Level 1 Air Academy training and Level 1 or 2 training for primary equipment.
• Strong self‑management, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines; computer proficiency for communication and work orders.
• Excellent verbal and written customer service and communication skills.
• Strong ability to embrace challenges without avoidance.
• Subject to random drug testing.
• Fluent in English and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in industrial environments with temperature extremes, continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Extensive travel to customer locations, including out‑of‑town and overnight travel. Available for possible work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel within the United States.
