Gas & Chemical Technician

Sirius Staffing is seeking Megasys Gas & Chemical Technicians in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will support the technical demands of site gas and chemical equipment, ensuring compliance with operational and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and flawless execution. Schedule during training:
Monday — Friday, 7a-4p. After training schedule: TBD; site works various schedules/shifts. 7a-7p 12-hour compressed shifts. (Sun, Mon, Tues, and every other Wed) then (Thurs, Fri, Sat, and every other Wed). Pay Range: $27-30/hr boe

• Support the operation and maintenance of site gas and chemical equipment.
• Perform cylinder and drum changes on gas and chemical distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and perform problem resolution.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and preventative maintenance requirements.
• Maintain and support 500 pieces of gas and chemical distribution equipment from multiple vendors.
• Promote a zero safety and zero quality incident culture.
• Participate in safety programs, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training.
• With experience, support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of EMD Electronics gas, precursor, and bulk chemical distribution systems.

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1 years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician
• Must have a valid Driver’s license
• Clear English communication skills
• Clean-shaven to wear a respirator (when needed)

• Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
• Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained
