Relief Technician – NuCO2

This role involves driving, installing, calibrating and maintaining company equipment across designated districts, ensuring safety compliance, prompt communication and meeting daily KPI targets.

Responsibilities
  • Complete installations, tank pulls, swaps, deliveries and service requests in the specified district or others as needed.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to all e‑mail communication.
  • Use DCI (Driver Check‑In) to track and finish installations, pulls, swaps and deliveries.
  • Meet required daily and weekly KPIs for delivery, installation or service activities.
  • Inspect vehicle for safety and DOT compliance.
Qualifications
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays and at minimal notice.
  • Adherence to safety and operational requirements, policies and procedures.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Clean driving record that meets NuCO2’s Safety Point System.
  • Mechanical and basic building construction knowledge.
  • Capability to read, analyze and interpret SOPs, technical procedures or regulations.
  • Ability to understand various instructions (written, oral, diagram, schedule).
  • Knowledge of permitting procedures where applicable.
Physical Requirements
  • Wear required PPE.
  • Lift 55 lbs and frequently maneuver 56–175 lbs (including pulling/pushing).
  • Occasionally maneuver a 750‑lb CO₂ tank dolly.
  • Climb in/out of truck multiple times a day.
  • Climb ladders and work in confined spaces with overhead reach.
  • Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Work at different height levels.
