Staff Software Engineer – Raxium
Google’s Raxium display group is developing next‑generation semiconductor display technology. We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to design and implement software that supports semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Develop custom software applications for semiconductor manufacturing, including MES, SPC and Engineering software.
- Architect, design, develop, test and maintain software applications.
- Set up and support build and release management activities and testing before production release.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams, leadership, engineers, program managers and data scientists to understand business and application needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 8 years of experience in design and architecture and testing/launching software products.
- 5 years of experience in software builds and release management.
- Experience with C#, C++, Python, WPF, Winforms, Blazor, SQL Server, Oracle, T‑SQL, PL/SQL, Power BI, GEM/SECS and tool communication.
- Master’s or PhD in Engineering or related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 8 years of experience in C# software framework development.
- Experience developing software used in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience with relational database design and SQL queries.
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards.
US base salary range $197,000–$291,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits.
