Men’s and Women’s Assistant Tennis Coach at Ohlone College (Fremont, CA)
Description:
The Men’s and Women’s Assistant Tennis Coach must have a strong passion for teaching and learning tennis. Your athletic or playing ability is not as important as your desire to teach and learn. You must also be punctual, reliable, and professional at all times.
Duties:
- Become main assistant to the Men’s and Women’s Ohlone College Renegades Tennis Teams (Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 season)
- Teach 1-on-1 private lessons at Ohlone Tennis Academy
- Teach, lead, and assist in adult and junior tennis classes/clinics at Ohlone Tennis Academy
- Recruit new players to the tennis program
- Assist with social media and marketing
- Ability to be flexible in scheduling (evenings and weekends may be necessary)
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- High School, College, USTA, and/or ITF tournament tennis playing experience
- At least 2 years of tennis coaching experience
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Pass a background check and complete the USTA’s Safe Play requirement
- Currently reside or willing to move to the San Francisco Bay Area or Fremont, CA
Salary:
Stipend for Men’s and Women’s Assistant Tennis Coach plus earn at least 60% of your hourly rate on private lessons and/or group tennis classes/clinics.
