• Follow safety protocols, schedules, and pre-determined routes.
• Act as a tour guide throughout trips on the open‑air electric shuttle that holds 62 passengers.
• Maintain exceptional attendance and punctuality.
• Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and report any issues.
• Comply with all traffic laws and federal and state transit regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers, central dispatch, and managers.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays.
• Use two‑way radios or hands‑free devices to report vehicle maintenance, road concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions.
• Plug in and charge vehicles at the end of each day.

• Use route navigation apps and technology with knowledge of pickup and drop‑off areas.
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents.
• Operate safely for minimum periods of one hour and forty‑five minutes.
• Adapt to fluctuating weather and terrain.
• Work flexibly outside regular days and shifts, including split‑shift schedules.
• Lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers.

• Commercial driver’s license (A or
  
  B).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least one year of driving experience (preferred).
