Shipping & Receiving Clerk IPosition Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk I to join a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position supports daily warehouse operations, including order picking, receiving incoming materials, inventory control, packaging, and preparing products for shipment.

The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working as part of a team in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities Order Picking Accurately pick materials and products from designated warehouse locations based on customer or production orders.

Verify item numbers, quantities, and labels to ensure order accuracy.

Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing picked items for shipment.

Receiving Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and visible damage.

Verify shipping and receiving documentation.

Label and organize received materials in designated warehouse locations.

Maintain an organized receiving and storage area.

Inventory Control Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory audits.

Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.

Enter receiving, picking, and inventory information into a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other inventory tracking system.

Maintain accurate inventory records.

Shipping Prepare customer and internal orders for shipment.

Verify that correct products and quantities are included in each shipment.

Properly package and label materials to prevent damage during transportation.

Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles.

Follow established shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures.

Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, material handling, or inventory experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Basic computer and data-entry skills.

Experience using a WMS or inventory tracking system is a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Ability to perform repetitive warehouse and material-handling tasks throughout the shift.
