Job SummaryThe classification level performs high‑level support/clerical tasks to promote effective decision making. Responsibilities include reviewing and accepting electronic filings, case assignment, file assembly, entry into court software, monitoring case progression, preparing notices, and general clerical duties.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to internal and external customers, answering phones and greeting walk‑in visitors.
- Review and accept electronic and over‑the‑counter filings; collect fees, process payments, and handle correspondence.
- Enter information into court databases and other computerized systems; maintain court records.
- Monitor case progression for timeline compliance.
- Prepare and record information, verify filings for accuracy, and complete corrections as needed.
- Perform other duties of similar nature or level.
Minimum qualifications:
Associate degree in a related field or High School Diploma/G.E.D. combined with 4 years of related experience. All educational credits must be from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

- Probate Court function, mode of operation, and related statutes, rules, and regulations.

- Using computers and related software applications.
- Reviewing reports for accuracy.
- Reading and comprehending departmental rules, regulations, procedures, and instructions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public.
Primarily sedentary work; some slight physical effort may be required, not to exceed 20 lbs.
