Club Manager – Baseline Fitness
Reports to:
District Manager
Status:
Full Time/Exempt
Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
- Member service oversight to provide a great customer service experience at all times.
- Front desk leadership: greeting, welcoming, gym tours, member service issues/questions.
- Support team members and club members.
- Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
- Coaching and counseling performance to help achieve company standards.
- Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym.
- Ensure staff are trained on current marketing promotions.
- Complete manager portion of onboarding in Paycom for all new hires.
- Ensure club open and staffed during all hours of business.
- Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Order supplies and track inventory.
- Customer Service: exceed customer wants and needs.
- Listening: actively listen, empathize, solve customer problems.
- Problem Solving: recognize, define, analyze, plan to resolve situations.
- Diplomacy: tact and skill in all interactions.
- Communication: maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors and departments.
- Honesty and good work ethic.
- At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
