- Lead the implementation of new products and processes on equipment/lines in the factory.
- Drive continuous improvement through all changes impacting the product making process.
- Lead complex problem‑solving using advanced techniques and Six Sigma methodologies, supporting the Mars Supply Excellence program (FMOS, Focused improvement, and Autonomous Maintenance).
- Coordinate projects between cross‑functional teams locally, regionally and globally.
- Support safety, quality, continuous improvement and environmental initiatives in collaboration with Q&FS and HSE.
- Develop and execute R&D strategies for growth, quality and efficiency by implementing new R&D innovations on site.
- Lead line trials, prepare trial reports and provide technical input to global R&D industrialization teams.
- Establish operational control systems including change management, industrial trials, handover and qualification reviews for product launch projects.
- Participate in the regional PPI platform to share technology, best practices and knowledge transfer for multi‑site harmonization.
- Drive standardization and process improvement, defining and deploying standard operating conditions.
- Analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and increase efficiency and capacity.
- Own training module definition to develop and sustain associates’ functional capabilities in grinding and extrusion processes.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years of food manufacturing experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience.
- Physical ability to climb stairs, work in elevated temperature and humidity environments, and work extended shifts on occasion.
- Minimum 40 lb. lifting requirement.
- Basic mechanical skill set using simple tools.
- Self‑starter capable of leading projects with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated success influencing and leading others.
- Up to 10% travel.
- B.S. degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
- Petfood processing experience.
