Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) for a day shift assignment in an acute care setting. The role involves managing ventilators, performing respiratory treatments, drawing ABGs, and supporting patient care across multiple departments.
No prescreen required — manager conducts direct phone interviews.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide treatments per protocol.

• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, Heated High Flow, and related respiratory equipment.

• Draw all ABGs and perform nebulizer and breathing treatments.

• Provide patient teaching for inhaler use.

• Assist with intubations (not required to intubate independently).

• Perform EKGs during times when diagnostics staff are unavailable.

• Provide care across Med/Surg, ER, and ICU units.

• Work with 2–3 RTs per shift with 24/7 coverage.

• Participate in block scheduling as approved; work every 3rd weekend.

• Optional: pick up extra shifts as they arise.
Skills & Experience

• Ability to handle daily treatment loads ranging from 10–30+.

• Strong ventilator management and acute respiratory care skills.

• Experience in similar-sized acute care settings.

• Comfortable with adult patients, some pediatrics, and occasional neonates (stabilization only).

• Experience using Cerner Power Chart preferred.

• Strong emergency response capabilities.
Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
