Position Overview

Packaging Operator (Pardo) – Night shift (6pm-6:30am) at Royal Canin, Fremont, NE.

Royal Canin is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our pet food business. Our focus on detail allows us to deliver precise nutrition for cats and dogs.

• Maintain efficient packaging line in line with the set plan and report deviations.
• Support peers to achieve highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards in the packing hall.
• Achieve GMP/GHP packaging score.
• Uphold cleaning regimes to the highest standard.
• Participate in operational processes for business performance improvement.

• Standing on a concrete floor.
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, uniform).
• Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
• Adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.
• Vision correctable to 20/20.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Plan work daily, work independently, be self-starter and highly motivated.
• Work with team and interact effectively with other departments.
