Cart Delivery Driver

Location: Fremont, Nebraska
Company: Waste Connections of Nebraska – Fremont
Pay Range: $18 – $20 per hour + $2,500 Stay on Bonus!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, starting at 5:00 AM until route completion

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a container delivery truck to deliver carts and containers to neighborhoods and events.
• Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, bending, and moving items weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and containers.
• Interact courteously with customers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Year-round outdoor work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold).
• Exposure to noise, fumes, vibration, and less-than-ideal environments.
• Requires constant entry/exit from vehicle and solo physical labor.
• Awareness of hazards in changing environments (construction sites, parking lots, large crowds).

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.
• Comfortable with physical labor.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Availability Monday–Friday, starting at 5:00 AM (approx. 40 hours/week).
