Travel Cath Lab Technologist – 13-Week Contract – Level III Trauma Center – Northern Ohio (Lake Erie)

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for an exciting 13-week travel assignment at a Level III trauma center located in beautiful Northern Ohio along Lake Erie. This hospital is known for its strong cardiovascular program, excellent team collaboration, and a long track record of travelers extending their contracts due to the positive work environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Cath Lab Tech looking to sharpen their skills in a high-acuity setting while enjoying life near one of the Midwest’s most scenic waterfront regions.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Consistent daytime schedule with opportunities to cross-train in a dynamic environment

Job Description

  • Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

  • Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment

  • Prepare and monitor patients throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases

  • Administer contrast agents and assist with vascular access as directed

  • Document all procedures, medications, and patient responses accurately

  • Maintain sterility and ensure all safety and compliance standards are met

  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and cardiovascular teams to optimize patient outcomes

  • Respond to emergencies and support a fast-paced trauma environment

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology program

  • RCIS or ARRT certification strongly preferred

  • Current BLS required (ACLS preferred)

  • Minimum of 1+ years of Cath Lab experience required

  • Strong ability to adapt within a high-acuity trauma setting
