Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operation of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service
- Develop and implement menu programs that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure exceptional service and quality
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of quality and sanitation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized meal plans and ensure that residents' dietary needs are met
- Monitor and report on food costs, waste, and other metrics to improve operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain relationships with local food vendors and suppliers
