Job DescriptionThe Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Sanitation Coordinator to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. This leadership role supports the execution of routine and periodic sanitation across all plant areas. The Sanitation Coordinator works with the sanitation manager and supervisor to coordinate activities, ensure schedules are met, provide oversight, and perform sanitation verification to ensure effectiveness.
Responsibilities& Duties
- Perform cycle counting and verification of sanitation effectiveness through inspections, employee conformance observations, cleaning method validations, and swab collection.
- Support and provide training for employees.
- Monitor safety of employees and enforce safety rules.
- Ensure scheduled routine and periodic sanitation cleaning within plant and grounds.
- Assign sanitation schedule plan to the sanitation team and provide direction.
- Maintain legality, employee and product safety, and environmental and quality systems.
- Resolve sanitation issues and assist supervisors and managers.
- Enforce compliance with the 7 steps of sanitation and plant GMPs.
- Undertake and complete special projects assigned by the sanitation manager or supervisor.
- Enforce proper lockout/tagout procedures in the facility.
- Adhere to all departmental safety rules, policies, and company procedures.
- Complete all plant and safety trainings, supporting Kraft Heinz safety and training processes.
- Administer corrective actions for violations of company procedures and policies.
- Perform additional duties and projects as needed by department and company.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3‑5 years of sanitation experience.
- Evidence of leadership responsibilities, leading others or self‑directed work.
- Experience in sanitation, production, problem solving, facility repair, and quality assurance.
