Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour plus commission

We are currently looking for the right full‑time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

The full‑time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and general merchandise.

The role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pulling, lifting, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer‑literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers may earn 2 – 8 % commission based on gross profit from their performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
