If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax Business products.

What You Will Do
  • Help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products with sound professional judgment, an excellent and timely manner.
  • Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
  • Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and/or proprietary business information responsibly and reliably.
  • Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to customers using everyday language.
  • Use our state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with customers in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner, and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
  • Interact with customers and team members respectfully while adhering to and promoting Intuit’s operating values, including “Integrity without compromise.”
What You Need
  • Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws with 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season.
  • Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting.
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
  • Bookkeeping experience from books to tax preparation strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Commit to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week (minimum 4‑hour shift increments) throughout the tax season.
  • Working knowledge of Circular 230.
  • Proficient with technology – solid computer and software knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills – ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness or ability to obtain an internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Compensation

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. Expected base pay range for this position varies by region:

  • Bay Area, California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
  • Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
  • Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
  • Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
  • New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • New York: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
  • Vermont: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
  • Washington: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
  • Washington DC: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. For ongoing pay equity, Intuit regularly compares categories of ethnicity and gender.
