This is an international food manufacturing and distribution business with a reputation for producing the finest products. They pride themselves on the ability to customize their products to fit specific needs. The Accounting Clerk will be joining a tenured team.

We are open to interviewing candidates with entry level accounting skills. This is a temporary to hire opportunity. Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM with some overtime during peak season.

• Processing and recording transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment follow‑ups, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry, financial calculations, and report generation.
• Collaborating with our consulting team to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of improved accounting processes and systems.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Providing support in all areas of financial management as needed.

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving problems.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
