Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, who is detail-oriented and capable of managing financial data efficiently. Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Manage invoice processing, ensuring timely and correct payments to vendors.

- Perform routine data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.

- Utilize Quick Books for financial tracking and reporting purposes.

- Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.

- Prepare and maintain financial documentation for audits and reviews.

- Communicate with vendors and clients to address payment inquiries.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

- Support the accounting team with additional administrative tasks as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, specifically in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

- Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and colleagues.
