Job Details

Our client seeks a Senior Accountant to manage general accounting across multiple entities in a complex agricultural and real estate organization. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports ERP systems, and contributes to process improvements, with a focus on real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financials, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end/year-end close and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist with internal/external audits and prepare supporting schedules.
• Maintain and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP.
• Collaborate with IT and accounting teams on system improvements.
• Enhance accounting processes and internal controls.
• Ensure accurate reporting and treatment of real estate transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-entity environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision).
• Experience with ERP optimization and user support.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and detail-focused approach.
