Court Clerk – Office Technician (Typing)

Under the general direction of the Office Services Supervisor II, the Office Technician (Typing) serves as the Court Clerk in the Workers Compensation Division, performing a wide range of the most difficult clerical duties. The incumbent evaluates a variety of incoming legal documents and correspondence using the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) and assists the Disability Evaluation Unit (DEU), workers’ compensation judges, and court personnel.

• Assist the Disability Evaluation Unit (DEU), workers’ compensation judges, and court personnel.
• Maintain accurate records; retrieve and transport legacy box files.
Working ConditionsThe position is located at 2550 Mariposa Mall, Suite 4078, Fresno, CA 93721. The office is smoke-free, with LED lighting, controlled temperature, quiet to moderate noise levels, and equipped with cubicles, computers, and other office equipment. Telework is available two days per week.
Special Requirements- Must type at a minimum speed as specified in the Class Specifications. A valid typing certificate confirming minimum typing speed is required prior to hiring.
Base Pay Range: $4,047.00 – $5,896.00 per month (subject to adjustments for bargaining units and Personal Leave Program).
