Overview

In this position you will undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the front desk of our main office. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information.

A customer-oriented approach is essential.

The goal is to make guests and visitors feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued while on our premises. Dependability, trustworthiness, attention to detail and ability to work with a diverse team in a fast paced environment is a must.

Duties
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
  • Greet and welcome guests.
  • Keep a calendar of all expected appointments through Outlook
  • Maintain sign in sheet for all visitors
  • Answer questions and direct complaints to the appropriate party
  • Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate party.
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
  • Electronic Banking
  • Various tasks as requested or assigned
Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience
  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
  • Knowledge of office business practices and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Spanish Speaking a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Flexibility – taking on any task as needed
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer oriented
Additional Information

This position requires that you be able to sit and stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
