Project Coordinator
Full-Time | Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role partners closely with Project Managers, Estimators, vendors, and field teams to ensure project documentation, communication, and materials are managed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and customer-focused, with a strong commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project hand-offs between Project Managers and Estimators to ensure continuity and clarity throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare meeting minutes for project hand-offs, coordination meetings, and pre- and post-construction meetings
  • Prepare, submit, track, and manage project submittals and re-submittals
  • Assist with shop and fabrication drawings for assigned projects
  • Review manufacturer shop drawings for compliance with project specifications and internal standards
  • Request, review, and track vendor quotes, lead times, and material availability
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify scope changes and communicate updates to the Project Manager
  • Maintain accurate and organized job files, including purchase orders, RFIs, invoices, emails, and meeting documentation
  • Prepare RFIs throughout all phases of the project
  • Attend project coordination and status meetings as required
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors to coordinate material ordering, deliveries, and required documentation
  • Assist with material ordering, logistics coordination, and crane pick planning as needed
  • Support effective field coordination by understanding project scope, schedules, and trade interactions
Qualifications
  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ year of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related field preferred
  • AutoCAD: Ability to navigate AutoCAD and assist with shop drawing sets
