Palliative Care Physician – Faculty Position
The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health are seeking a physician to join the teaching faculty. The position will be responsible for the provision of Palliative Care Consultations within Community Medical Center (CMC) and providing expertise for the academic and clinical functions of an active and growing Palliative Care Fellowship training service.
This includes both inpatient and outpatient components in the division of Palliative Medicine working with the regional hospital and an embedded outpatient clinic within the Cancer Center.
- Provide Palliative Care consultations to patients at Community Medical Center.
- Serve as a faculty member for the Palliative Care Fellowship training program.
- Engage in clinical research and community practice in Palliative Care.
- Participate in medical administrative and educational leadership opportunities.
- Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- California licensed or eligible to obtain a California license.
- Preferred experience in Palliative inpatient and outpatient care settings.
- Salary and academic rank commensurate with qualifications.
