Position: Urgent Care Staff Physician
1099 Status: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN available

Position Overview: Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with opportunities for Medical Directorship in Fresno, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practicing urgent care medicine in twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- Full-time involves 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
- Treating approximately 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics, in a low-acuity setting.
- Performing common procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
- Utilizing equipment like in-house point-of-care testing and X-ray.
- All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- Using an easy-to-use EMR system:
Veloci Doc with Dragon dictation for quick documentation.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Completion of a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program
- Active and in-good-standing California Medical License
- DEA Certification
