Music Teacher Responsibilities & QualificationsPay Rate: $16.50/hr - $19.90/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $22.10/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

- Teach music lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
- Increase student count and ensure each student grows and enjoys music.
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount.
- Assist with customer service as needed to build long term relationships.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Partner with students and families through frequent communication.
- Communicate student progress to parents.
- Share goals and progress frequently.
- Previous experience in Music, Education or related field.
- Ability to teach an instrument you are proficient in (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.).
- Demonstrated competency in the instrument you will teach.
