Position Summary:

Clark Bros, Inc. is currently seeking an Estimator to join our Renewable Energy team specializing in wind, solar and BESS projects. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent who is ready to transition from the field to the office and apply hands-on expertise to the estimating side of our projects. Experience in electrical construction within the renewable energy space is key.

We are willing to provide full training on our estimating software and processes for the right candidate. In this role, you’ll leverage field knowledge to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates, evaluate project scopes, and support bid preparation. Success requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Estimate, prepare and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution
• Plan and analyze construction methodologies and recommend the best option to the Assistant Project Manager for approval prior to site execution
• Interpret construction drawings, contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution
• Provide engineering and technical support to all electrical work groups at site
• Coordinate with Client/Consultant representatives for site instructions and inspection of works
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met daily for all electrical groups at site
• Ensure work aligns with approved drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and applicable standards
• Prepare budget for the project by categorizing costs and monitor costs throughout the project life, comparing estimating costs to actual costs

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Estimating or related fields is preferred, but solid experience may substitute for a degree
• Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of electrical and renewables estimation
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and estimating software/database programs
