We are currently recruiting Assistant Resident Engineers/Lead Construction Inspectors in the Central Valley of California (Fresno, Visalia, Sacramento, and Bakersfield), as well as the Greater Los Angeles Area, Inland Empire, and San Diego.

NV5 is seeking a Construction Inspector with 3 to 5 years of field experience in public infrastructure, transit, and aviation construction management. Candidates with heavy civil transportation experience, knowledge of Caltrans specifications, and good communication skills are preferred. Knowledge of aviation industry practices and regulations is also desirable.

• Knowledge of contract documents, including Standard Plans and Specifications, and various industry construction practices.
• Understanding of state safety orders, traffic control, and field office engineering techniques.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and negotiation abilities with internal and external clients.
• Minimum of three years of construction inspection experience.

Compensation: The pay range for this California position is $50.00 - $80.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units and other benefits.
