• Receives and documents the order for respiratory equipment and/or services from the customer service, patient, caregiver, physician, and/or family member.
• Collects additional information and/or documentation needed from insurance or physician.
• Assesses the patient’s needs and selects the best respiratory therapy or services required.
• Provides instruction and education on the proper use and care of respiratory equipment according to policies and procedures for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Communicates with the patient’s physician on changes in the patient’s condition and carries out adjustments to the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Completes patient accounts paperwork, including Plan of Care, treatment, and assessments.
• Acts as a liaison between Super Care Health and the patient, family, caregiver, and physician.
• Assumes full responsibility for professional skills, actions, and attitudes.
• Follows all JCAHO policies and procedures.
• Follows up on visits for respiratory patients and assists in continuity of care as needed.
• Provides 24‑hour on‑call service, seven days a week as scheduled.
• Sets up respiratory equipment within the appointment/ETA to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Provides services for the marketing department and all other departments as necessary.
• Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with patients.
• Supports Super Care Health by being loyal and notifying the office of concerns and problems to be resolved.
• Understands and adheres to all company policies.
• Maintains current knowledge of all products.
• Maintains a professional, safe, and clean work environment.

• Graduate from an accredited RT Care Program (licensed RCP).
• Experience as a Respiratory Therapist PRN.
• Thorough knowledge and skill related to respiratory care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• People‑sensitive characteristics with a genuine desire to help others.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
