Work Med California is a well-established workers’ compensation medical group with over 10 years serving injured workers in Fresno and Torrance. Our Fresno clinic treats a high volume of patients in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment that includes physicians, chiropractors, and therapy specialists. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate care while providing a smooth, organized workflow for our providers.

The Role:

We are seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist with strong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and a passion for helping injured workers recover. This is an on-site, independent contractor position (1099) at our Fresno location. Our patient base comes primarily from attorney referrals and workers’ compensation cases—no marketing or patient recruitment required.

• $500–$550/day pay rate (based on experience)
• Steady, pre-scheduled patient volume – you’ll walk into a full day of care
• All billing, authorizations, and scheduling handled by our team
• Supportive team environment with MD, DC, and therapy staff on-site
• Opportunities for growth and additional days based on performance

• 2 days per week to start (flexible scheduling available)
• Potential to increase based on volume and provider availability

• Provide acupuncture treatment to injured workers under established treatment plans
• Accurately document each visit in compliance with workers’ comp requirements
• Collaborate with the physician and therapy team for coordinated patient care
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication with patients and staff

• Current California Acupuncture License in good standing
• Experience in musculoskeletal injury treatment preferred
• Workers’ compensation or medical-legal experience a plus (training provided if needed)
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
