Summit Surgical is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Our fast paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Pay Range: $24.00 - 32.00/hour (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
Required Skills- High School diploma or GED required
- Computer skills, required
- CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
- Six months of experience, preferred
- 2-3 years of experience as an Instrument Room Technician.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knows operating room instrumentation.
- Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
- Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
- Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
- Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
