Menu Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a Menu Coordinator to join our team at San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Fresno, CA. In this role you will assist patients with meal choices, maintain dietary lists, and support daily nutrition services in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment.

• Prepare patient choice menu tray tickets and maintain the diet list, snack list, and online menu program.
• Pick up patient choice menus and assist patients as needed.
• Assist on the tray line and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years of experience in a healthcare dietary setting is acceptable in lieu of education.
• Food handling certification required by state regulations.
• Minimum two years of healthcare dietary work experience.

• Basic understanding of food preparation and diet knowledge preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
