Clinical Supervisor, BCBA

Overview

Join California Autism Center (CAC) as a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA. CAC is a locally owned ABA provider with six treatment centers in Fresno, Merced, and Visalia. The role is full‑time, exempt, with a competitive base pay of $72,000—$85,000 USD and a benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to obtain insights into client concerns.
• Observe naturalistic behavior in individual and group settings and simulate conditions to assess behavior.
• Formulate treatment plans that consider cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.
• Administer treatment, tailor intervention plans, and suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required.
• Operate within time, financial, and resource constraints to the extent possible.
• Review and sign off on behavior plans, provide training to support staff, and provide field supervision when necessary.
• Remain abreast of changes in evidence‑based research and practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Master’s degree, PsyD, or Ph.D. in early childhood education, special education, psychology, or a related field with specialized knowledge of behavioral health.
• At least three years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, and a thorough understanding of child development.
• Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs; experience teaching social interaction and play skills.
• Knowledge of current methods of technicians of applied behavior analysis and discrete trial training; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, parents, and professionals.
• Two or more years of experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory role.
• Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
• Calm, empathic, and patient.
• The ability to remain composed and adhere to best practices, even when under duress.
