Overview Of The HRIS Analyst Role

  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Manage system configurations, upgrades, and overall system performance.
  • Create, run, and analyze HR reports and dashboards to support business decisions, compliance audits, and internal requests.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities by interpreting HR data.
  • Establish company policies and ADP procedures, serving as a primary point of contact for ADP.
  • Audit ADP reports to verify timely and accurate payment of local, state, and federal payroll taxes, and follow up on any outstanding issues.
  • Develop and maintain reports to meet business needs and compliance requirements, and fulfill ad hoc data and audit requests.
  • Assist with team projects – partner with HR, IT, and vendors to improve HR processes through system enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications For The HRIS Analyst

  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Human Resources or other related field.
  • 4+ years of related HRIS Analyst experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms required, ADP preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skillset.
