Labor & Employment Attorney - Lozano Smith (Fresno)
Our Fresno office is currently seeking a dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who thrives on meaningful work, values collaboration, and wants to make a lasting impact on communities throughout California. We are looking for individuals with 3+ years of experience in labor & employment with a passion for public entity representation.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.
- Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on complex, high-impact cases.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school districts.
- Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.
