Lyons Magnus leads the food industry with creativity and innovation, crafting top-quality products across all manufacturing phases. The Critical Cleaning Lead guides a team of Sanitation Technicians under the Sanitation Manager to achieve departmental goals and support all sanitation functions.

Pay Range
: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

• Manage daily activities of Sanitation Technicians and their schedules.
• Confirm sanitation records are compliant and properly filled.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and inspected following lock-out/tag-out procedures and PPE per CIP SOP.
• Meet FDA, HACCP, QA, and GMP standards for sanitation and equipment.
• Monitor cleaning chemical concentrations and inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Train and cross-train employees on SOPs and safe handling of acids, chlorines, caustics, and quats.
• Maintain open communication with QA/QC, Production, and Maintenance.
• Recommend improvements to Sanitation Department efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in Lyons Escalation Procedure and communicate issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company policies and core values.
• Perform allergen analysis, clean equipment swabbing, and other duties as required.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.

• Self-motivated with strong leadership or supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and industry standard cleaning procedures.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years’ experience preferred within related fields.
