The Production Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing processes within a food industry environment. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment and assembly lines to maintain consistent product quality and meet production targets. The operator will perform routine quality checks and adhere strictly to clean room protocols to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
Collaboration with team members and following detailed instructions are essential to maintain smooth workflow and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Production Operator contributes to delivering high-quality products while supporting a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the food industry.
- Ability to operate production equipment and work on an assembly line.
- Basic understanding of quality control and safety standards.
- Physical capability to lift and carry heavy weights safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a clean room environment.
- Certification or training in food safety and hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with production line automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with documentation and reporting in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment and assembly lines to ensure continuous and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular quality checks on products and equipment to maintain high standards and identify any deviations promptly.
- Adhere to clean room procedures and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic and safe working environment.
- Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with production and safety guidelines.
- Assist with lifting and carrying heavy materials as required, supporting team efforts to meet production goals.
