Certified Meat Products is your local, family-owned, USDA inspected meat processor based in the agricultural heart of California. From raw to fully cooked, we pride ourselves in delivering a full line of Beef, Pork, Lamb and Poultry products. We specialize in producing premium ground beef, portion-controlled steaks, marinated and value-added products.

Work with various machinery to package product from daily production.

Variable, depending on production and company needs. Overtime as necessary.

The work for this position takes place in production facilities. The production rooms are equipped with a refrigeration system that sustains the temperature at 35°-45°

F. The room is also equipped with long tables used for processing meat products; machinery used to grind meat; warehouse machinery and conveyor belts to transport boxes. The room is well-lit and has a level concrete floor that at times can be wet. The production room is also equipped with a loading dock and heavy-duty rack shelving to house product.

• Ensure proper labeling of product
• Vacuum pack product using appropriate machinery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area throughout shift
• Adhere to GMPs and safety protocols
• Complete necessary paperwork as assigned

• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials
• Requires prolonged standing during work hours
• Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching
• Must work in noisy and crowded environments
• Must work in and around odors
• Must work in lower temperature environment (35°-45°
  
  F)

• Must comply with company dress code
• Layered clothing is advised
