Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN Full Time Nights San Joaquin Valley Rehab

Licensed Vocational Nurse – LVN – Full Time Nights – San Joaquin Valley Rehab

Location: San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, 7173 N Sharon Ave, Fresno, CA.
Schedule: Full-time night shifts.

Overview: The LVN will deliver clinical nursing care on the inpatient rehabilitation unit at San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with the Nursing Process and state regulations.
  • Assist in patient evaluations, develop care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Delegate and supervise nursing tasks to ensure unit functionality and compliance with the RN’s direction.
  • Maintain professional relationships, uphold quality standards, and expand clinical expertise in sub-acute rehabilitation.

Required Skills:

  • Current, valid, active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • IV certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; preference for 3 years medical/surgical experience and area‑specific rehab experience.
  • Professional appearance and strong organizational, analytical, and independent decision‑making skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Computer proficiency with common healthcare applications.
  • Compliance with drug and alcohol policies.

Compensation: $25.25 – $35.37 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
