Health Center Nurse

We are currently hiring a skilled Health Center Nurse for a well-known health facility in the area Fresno, CA. You will provide direct patient care and clinical support services in a community health center setting. This role ensures high-quality care through assessment, education, and coordination in collaboration with providers and multidisciplinary teams.

• Temp to Hire
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Pay Rate : $38.59 / HR

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and health screenings
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient education
• Triage patients and respond to clinical inquiries via phone or in person
• Review and update electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate documentation
• Administer immunizations and monitor patient response
• Support chronic disease management and patient follow-up care
• Participate in care coordination and referral processes
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols in accordance with clinic standards
• Precept and mentor nursing students or new staff as needed
• Attend required training, meetings, and maintain licensure / certifications

• Current California RN or LVN license (as required by the role)
• CPR / BLS certification (required)
• Minimum of one-year clinical nursing experience
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient advocacy skills

• Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States
• As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check
