The pay range for this position is $25.00‑$40.00 paid hourly, offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience.

Depending on your experience will decipher your eligibility for QA Supervisor I II, or III.

The Supervisors are responsible for implementing, under the direction of the Department Manager or General Manager for the satellite labs, the steps necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of their department or facility. Supervisors II and III take direct responsibility for technical leadership and the morale and development of the department staff. All Supervisors plan, coordinate and direct the department or lab operations so that analytical results are performed within holding times, meet appropriate quality and deliverable requirements, and meet client or project specific requirements.

& Requirements

The QA Supervisor will oversee the laboratory performance testing program, calibration program, QA recordkeeping, and provide quality control support including performing internal audits.

Duties include:

  • Assisting the QA Manager in implementation of the laboratory QA/QC Program.
  • Assisting in all external audits by regulatory agencies or clients.
  • Performing internal audits, including on‑site method assessments and electronic data surveillance, throughout the year and providing feedback to department supervisors for corrective action reports.
  • Overseeing the Performance Testing (PT) sample program to meet laboratory accreditation requirements. This includes coordination of the scheduling and ordering of PT samples, reporting and evaluating PT results, and submitting laboratory corrective action reports for any PT failures.
  • Overseeing amendment of analytical reports and handling client result inquiries.
  • Implementing the QA ethics policy and the data integrity policy.
  • Maintaining the document control program and QA recordkeeping program, including staff training records and raw data archives.
  • Maintaining the corrective and preventive actions program to promote improvement of laboratory operation and data quality.
  • Updating LIMS information to meet current method requirements, including analyte list, MRL, MDL, and QC limits.
  • Supervising junior staff in performing any or all of the above QA duties.
  • Qualifications & Education Requirements
    • Supervisor:
      Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science, 5 years applicable experience.
    • Supervisor II:
      Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science, 7 years applicable experience.
    • Supervisor III:
      Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science, 10 years applicable experience.
