Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Taco's El Valle. As a Fast-Paced Cook specializing in Mexican cuisine, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and authentic dishes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should thrive under pressure, have a passion for Mexican cuisine, and be able to work efficiently as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more, according to established recipes and standards.

Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen, ensuring all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean and organized work station, following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.

Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
