A well-established travel company in the Fresno area is looking for a personable, sales-minded Reservation Sales Coordinator to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with customers, knows how to sell over the phone, and is strong at following up and turning inquiries into bookings. While you'll assist existing travelers with their reservations, a big part of your role will be identifying opportunities to close bookings, upgrade reservations, and increase sales.

In addition to the hourly rate, this position offers booking bonuses on cruise cabin sales, giving strong performers the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

What You'll Do

• Handle inbound calls from customers interested in travel and cruise reservations
• Make outbound follow-up calls to prospective travelers who have previously inquired or requested information
• Build rapport, answer questions, overcome hesitation, and help convert inquiries into bookings
• Identify opportunities to upsell customers into upgraded cabin categories and travel options
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers until they book or make a final decision
• Create and process new reservations accurately
• Assist travelers with cabin selections, hotel accommodations, dining preferences, special requests, and other reservation details
• Follow up with customers regarding reservation details, payments, deadlines, and outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate customer and reservation information in the company's reservation system
• Stay knowledgeable about destinations, cruise ships, ports, travel experiences, and available inventory
• Provide a high level of customer service before and after the sale

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has a combination of inside sales and customer service experience. You should be comfortable picking up the phone, following up with leads, and asking for the sale—not simply waiting for customers to call.

We're especially interested in candidates who have:

• Previous inside sales, phone sales, reservation sales, or call center sales experience
• Experience handling both inbound and outbound customer calls
• A proven ability to follow up with prospective customers and close sales
• Confidence recommending upgrades or additional products/services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple customers and follow-up tasks without letting opportunities fall through the cracks
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Travel, hospitality, cruise, or reservation experience is helpful, but strong sales ability is more important

Compensation $21.00/hour + booking bonuses

Employees can earn additional bonuses for cruise cabin bookings, including higher bonus opportunities based on the cabins booked. For someone who is motivated by sales and enjoys helping customers plan memorable travel experiences, this position offers the opportunity to earn beyond the base hourly rate.

This is a full-time, in-office position in the Fresno, CA area. Remote or hybrid work is not available. INDHP
