We’re looking for a Sales Director to lead the sales and business development efforts of a senior living community. This role will drive occupancy by building a strong prospect pipeline, developing referral partnerships, creating meaningful connections with prospective residents and their families, and guiding prospects through the sales process from initial inquiry to move‑in.
The ideal candidate is a confident relationship‑builder who is motivated by results and comfortable balancing strategic sales planning with hands‑on community engagement. What You’ll Do:Lead the community’s sales strategy and occupancy goals, using pipeline activity, conversion trends, and market insights to drive results.
Manage the full sales process from initial inquiry through tours, follow‑up, deposits, and move‑in, ensuring a positive experience for prospective residents and families.
Build and maintain referral partnerships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other local partners to generate qualified leads.
Develop and execute local outreach and marketing strategies, including events, sponsor ships, advertising, and other initiatives that increase visibility and lead generation.
Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting, communicate trends to leadership, and identify opportunities to improve sales performance.
Monitor the competitive landscape, including competitor offerings, pricing, occupancy, incentives, and sales strategies, and recommend opportunities to strengthen market position.
Partner with community leadership and department teams to coordinate sales, census reporting, move‑ins, and ongoing resident and family engagement.
Manage assigned sales and marketing expenses and support overall community operations, including serving as Acting General Manager when assigned.
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or a related field; senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred.
Proven ability to build relationships, generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and achieve sales or occupancy goals.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
